Do you want to develop a technical, aggressive style of Jiu Jitsu? This is how you do it!

Here at Purler Combat Academy, we specialize in teaching wrestling skills to Jiu-Jitsu athletes. Utilizing our extensive wrestling knowledge, we have broken down wrestling into the core skills and techniques that benefit Jiu-Jitsu practitioners. By uniting our wrestling expertise with high-level Jiu-Jitsu instructors, we aim to bring you the ultimate training camp for anyone who wants to have a takedown oriented aggressive style.

Our camp is structured over two days: Day one is dedicated to takedown drilling and sparring, while day two focuses on JiuJitsu drilling and sparring. Each session consists of roughly one hour of drilling and one hour of sparring, except for the 7:30 pm session, which is only sparring. At Purler Combat Academy, we are known for our technical, high-rep drilling. Our goal is for you to leave our camp with skills, tricks, and techniques that you can utilize on the mats.

We have a bunkhouse on-site for both male and female campers. It is very common for athletes to stay overnight at our facility, which features 220 bunk beds, a coaches’ lounge for supervision, a full kitchen, and 20 showers. Our facility is a state of the art camp facility built specifically for hosting camps and clinics. 26,000 sq feet!

*Please note, we do have a commuter option if you live close by or wish to stay nearby at a hotel!

Thank you for joining us and abiding by our policies. As you can imagine, all of our policies are in place for a reason, and for the best interests of the athletes, and helps us to run a smooth and incredible weekend camp for your athletes.

NOTE: At the camp store (shorts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc.) we only take cash or check, so please plan accordingly.

Please feed your kids a late breakfast/early lunch on Saturday. We push back times on Day 1 as a way to save many of our athletes’ parents from needing to buy a hotel on Friday night and allow them to drive in on Saturday. We will provide a late lunch and dinner on Saturday, as well as breakfast and lunch on Sunday.

Three day camp gets dinner Sunday night and a breakfast on the last day. No Snacks Please.

We offer a concession stand and every item is priced at $2 for snack items, and $3 for meal type food items (Hot Pockets, Burritos, etc.). NO food or drinks allowed inside the bunk houses or outside of the designated area in the wrestling room. We need to maintain a clean environment for the athletes and do not have storage areas for snacks in the bunkhouses. We will have plenty of variety and if your athletes has any special dietary needs please let us know.

All refunds issued will be in the form of a camp credit towards any future Purler camp. A camper dismissed for disciplinary reasons will not be considered for a credit.

Any camper leaving camp due to an injury/illness will be given a credit for the remaining value of the camp. Please remember that wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu are contact sports and injuries are a part of that, as well as skin infections. By enrolling in camp you are assuming the risk that your child may be injured, become ill, or have a skin infection and unable to complete camp, and it is understood that credit will be given for only the remaining days’ value.

If a camper chooses to leave camp by their own choice, for any reason, they will not receive a credit for the remainder of camp. Campers are welcome to reschedule their camp dates if space is available. By registering for camp you are agreeing to abide by these cancellation/refund guidelines.
